Nawabi Styled Hyderabadi Biryani Food Festival Kicks Off at Copper Chimney, Jaipur!

The two-week long Hyderabadi Biryani Food Festival has kicked off at the MI Road located Copper Chimney and is drawing a huge number of visitors. The Executive Chef, Pulin Maity, who hails from Bengal said that spices play a major role in the making of a traditional Hyderabadi Biryani. For the festival at Copper Chimney, keeping the authenticity in mind, the spices have been grounded at the eatery itself and have not been obtained from the market.

Brainchild of the owner, Ms. Rashmi Kuchhal (she got the idea of a Biryani festival after her visit to Hyderabad), who informed that there were six Biryanis to choose from for the visitors – Mutton Hyderabadi Biryani, Chicken Hyderabadi Biryani, Fish Hyderabadi Biryani, Keema Khada Hyderabadi Biryani, Vegetable Hydrabadi Dum Biryani and Paneer Hyderabadi Biryani.

Each of these Biryanis is priced at Rs. 425 except for Keema Khada Hyderabadi Biryani which is for Rs. 475. Mr. Kunal Kuchhal said that food festivals during the ‘off season’ help in increasing the footfalls.
