“Authentic Tandoori stuff”

I have been visiting Handi restaurant in Jaipur for many years. it may not offer much in terms of ambience – but it more than makes up with its exotic tandoori stuff. The chicken tikkas, seekh kababs, mutton burra and tandoori chicken are succulent and a treat to order. The main course has to be with handi meat, butter chicken and roomali roti. Handi meat is a specialty of this place and is definitely a great item.

The meal at Handi is always a pleasure and it has maintained its standard over the years.

I often go to Handi to have non veg, it is one of the few places where you get very good non veg at reasonable rates.

We were struggling to find a place to eat and Handi had been recommended by local friends so we figured it was a safe bet. It is a no frills restaurant with rows of tables and chairs in a dimly lit space. It was clean, service was efficient and the food was fabulous. The menu is extensive and there were plenty of vegetarian options. Our favourite was butter masala paneer. Toilets were clean and prices were reasonable.

We have eaten here several time. Good food, decent service, taste goes very well for all sort of people including Indians and foreigners as food is neither too spicy not bland. Service is prompt and the decor is very local and cozy, nothing very fancy.
